Business Continuity Plan |
| |
|
Granot Inc. is committed to keeping your business data and
applications accessible at all times: during everyday routine
but also through severe weather conditions or even disaster
situations. In order to guarantee this kind of uncompromising
business continuity a strict and detailed Continuity Plan has
been established, incorporating rigorous security, backup and
replication regimes that apply all year round. |
|
| |
| |
● |
Granot's datacenter is located
inside a modern 150,000 square ft office building conveniently
situated at the heart of Miami's central business district. The
facilities are placed centrally inside the hurricane-safe
building; the floor is equipped with a main UPS, and a climate
control, air conditioning system; there is also a 750 AVA diesel
generators that pops into action within 15 seconds of power
failure. |
| |
|
|
| |
● |
To further guarantee no data is
ever lost, Granot uses a co-location service that becomes active
within four hours of an inclement weather forecast. |
|
| |
| |
| Backup and replication practices |
|
| |
Granot's system backup policy is threefold: |
| |
| |
● |
Incremental Backup occurs
automatically every five (5) minutes. The data is stored only
once, successive backups then take place which only contain the
information changed since the previous backup. |
| |
|
|
| |
● |
Full Backup occurs daily and
automatically, and involves the creation of copies of data,
which can be used to restore the original in any event of data
loss. |
|
| |
| Transactional Replication synchronizes
between the active database and the passive database (placed at Granot's
backup datacenter). The transactions are stored on the passive database
in 30-second intervals. |
